The ground breaking ceremony of The present Cutchi Memon Jamath Khana was carried out on the 4th of December 2009 and construction was completed by January of 2016. The Inauguration of the building was done on the 17th January 2016; it was a joyous and proud occasion for the Cutchi Memon community.
As with everything in the world, time takes its toll and the need was felt for a makeover of the Cutchi Memon Jamath Khana.
The Maintenance Committee completed all the required repairs and maintenance of the building. In order to beautify it further, LED illumination was installed all over the fascia of the building which has made it look spanking brand new all over again.
To celebrate this accomplishment, an Illumination ceremony was organized. The ceremony was attended by the members of Cutchi Memon Jamath Managing Committee, the Cutchi Memon Union Managing Committee, the trustees of the Cutchi Memon Education Trust and our honored guests.
Mr. Irfan Razack, the Vice President of the Cutchi Memon Jamath inaugurated the lighting installed. After a brief photo session, the Maintenance Committee welcomed and felicitated the Office Bearers of the CMJ Managing Committee and invited them to speak a few words.
The ceremony ended with a dinner hosted by the Maintenance Committee which was enjoyed by all present there.
We truly appreciate the selfless efforts of Mr. Nayeem Noor, Mr. Tahar Hashim, Mr. Iftikhar Saleem and Mr. Abdul Rawoof Ayub - the members of the Maintenance Committee who have renewed our pride in our community center.
